Trade questions

How does ordering work?

Not on this site. Once your application is approved, terms, ordering and delivery are agreed directly with Resin Mill Europe, or with the Resin Mill distributor for your country.

Who supplies me?

It depends on your country. In Belgium, France, Greece and Romania our local distributor supplies you, and Resin Mill Europe makes the introduction. In every other EU country you buy from Resin Mill Europe. If a distributor is appointed there later, you move to that distributor.

Is my country open?

Every EU country is open to reseller applications. Distributor applications are open in every EU country except Belgium, France, Greece and Romania, which already have a Resin Mill distributor. The territories page lists every country.

Can I become the StoneHold distributor for my country?

If your country has no Resin Mill distributor yet, yes. Choose the distributor path in the application form. You would hold stock and supply resellers in your country. A reseller can also apply to become the distributor for its country.

What support do I get?

Approved stockists receive the reseller pack on onboarding: listing copy per language, an image pack and the intro video, social post templates, a printable shelf card and counter sheet, and the EAN and logistics sheet. Physical display material, co-funded advertising and demo days are not part of the pack.

Is there a minimum order?

Order terms, including any minimum quantity, are agreed with you directly after your application is approved. They are not published on this site.

Why are there no prices on this site?

The site is for trade buyers and sells nothing. Prices and terms are shared with approved stockists. There is one recommended retail price across all channels, and Resin Mill Europe never sells below it.

Where is the stock held?

Stock is held in Belgium and delivered within the EU, invoiced in euros. In countries with a Resin Mill distributor, the distributor supplies you.

How long does a reply take?

Resin Mill Europe reviews every application and replies within 3 working days, by email.

Product questions

What does StoneHold do?

It is a water-based binder that holds loose decorative stone, gravel, bark and mulch in place. The stones stay where they were put, and rainwater still drains straight through.

Which materials does it work with?

Decorative stone and gravel from 4 to 20 mm, bark and mulch.

Will water still drain through?

Yes. StoneHold binds the stones to each other and leaves the gaps between them open, so the surface stays fully permeable.

Can it be used on a driveway?

No. StoneHold is for decorative areas and pedestrians only, not for vehicles.

How much does one pack cover?

About 5 to 7 m2 per 2.5 L, depending on stone size and depth.

How is it applied?

In five steps with a pressure sprayer: spray over clean, dry stone, rake it in, spray a second coat, press the surface flat with a hand trowel, then leave it for at least 24 hours and finish with a last, light coat. The how it works page has the full instructions.

How long does it take to cure?

24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature and humidity. Keep children and pets off until the surface is dry.

What does the finish look like?

It dries clear with a light satin finish, so the colour of the stone, gravel or mulch shows through.

How should it be stored?

In a cool, dry place with the container tightly closed. Shelf life is 12 months.

What safety information applies?

May cause an allergic skin reaction (H317). Wear protective gloves and avoid breathing the spray. If on skin, wash with plenty of water. Keep out of reach of children. The safety data sheet is on safety.resinmill.eu.
